Special categories of passengers

UNACCOMPANIED MINOR

Unaccompanied minors (UMNR/UM) are all children aged between 5 and 12 years not accompanied by a person of at least 18 years of age.

Children under age of 5 must be accompanied by an adult person of 18 years of age or older.

EXCEPTION:

  • If within same family - brother, sister - accompanying person must be at an age of 16 years at least.
  • Passengers between 12 and 16 years old and traveling alone, may be considered 'Unaccompanied minors' and accepted as such:
    • On special request of the parents or appointed guardian.
    • In case of doubt about his ability to travel alone.
PARENTS' OR GUARDIAN'S RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Make the flight reservations;
  • Passport Data
  • Arrange for the necessary travel documents;
  • Must arrange notarized power of attorney to ONECLICK AIRWAYS.
  • Must arrange notarized power of attorney of both parents to allow UMNR flight out of country;
  • Sign the UM Service Handling form form;
  • Pay UM costs 60EUR per leg.

The child must be escorted to the airport of departure. The escort must stay at the airport/terminal until 15 minutes after the flight has departed so as to be available to take care of the child should the flight be delayed or return to the departure airport after take-off.

The child must be met in the terminal of arrival. The escort must be in airport at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled arrival time of the flight.

AIRLINE'S RESPONSIBILITY:
  • The UM becomes the airline's full responsibility from the moment he/she is handed over by the parents, guardian or authorized adult upon departure, or by the delivering carrier at the transfer station.
  • The cabin crew are responsible for the UMNRs during the flight and remain responsible for them until they are handed to a designated ground staff member or the parent/guardian on arrival.
  • They should never be left in the care of any other person on board.
  • Provide UM service form for fill: The form is to be completed by the child's parents or legal guardian and gives details of the outward and return journeys. Names and addresses of escorts at departure and arrival airports and parents of minor are to be included on the form. The form must be signed by the child's parent or guardian. If no form has been completed previously it must be done at check-in.
ARRIVAL STATION
  • Meet the UM at the front door of the arriving aircraft;
  • Guide him through immigration, baggage claim, customs, etc.;
  • Hand over the UM only to the designated adult mentioned on the handling advice after having checked the identity of this person and having received his signature for receipt of the UM;
  • If the designated adult is not present or not the person mentioned on the handling advice, make every effort to contact the designated person for verification;
  • If this is not possible, contact the parents/guardian at the origin station;
  • If necessary, return the UM to the station of origin.

NOTE: All costs involved in this operation will be debited to the parents/guardian.

EXPECTANT MOTHER

After 28 weeks of pregnancy an expectant mother must carry a medical certificate stating the duration of the pregnancy and fitness to travel.

The Medical report (certificate) must be issued by a specialist of the subject and indicate the doctors name, surname and signature written on a notepaper headed by the doctor or the healthcare provider.

The date the report is written must be indicated.

The date on report's issuing must not be more than 7 days prior to the date of flight.

The Medical report (certificate) shall contain following:

  • term of pregnancy
  • single or double (multiple) pregnancy
  • confirmation that the pregnancy goes without complication
  • gynecologists' confirmation that pregnancy is not contraindication to travel by air.

NOTE: Travel is not permitted under any circumstances after 36th week of pregnancy.

PASSENGERS WITH REDUCED MOBILITY

Oneclick Airways committed in providing quality facilities to passengers with reduced mobility who require wheelchair services.

It is important for us to know about your special requerment before you have book ticket to avoid misunderstanding during check-in at the airport. Acceptance of Passengers with Reduced Mobility may be depends upon some factors (condition of the passenger; limitation per aircraft; the necessity of special equipment e.t).

Booking request must be made 72 hours before departure but not later than 24 hours before departure.

While making a booking it is necessary to inform whether you need a wheelchair or not.

In case of using own wheelchair, it is necessary to provide an information about its size, weight and type - manual or battery powered. If, battery powered please, provide battery information (Model Number, Proper Shipping Name or Wheelchair Model Name/Number).

The number of wheelchairs can be limited on certain aircraft types, due to restricted loading capacity is controlled via reservation of number of handicapped passengers.

Any own wheelchair exceeding, excess baggage rate to be applied.
